très belle demeure pleine de charme et acceuil chaleureux. malheureusement une reception ayant lieu ce jour là nous a empéché de dormir et nous aurions aimé être prévenus, et que l'on nous propose de loger au Relais Borgo Degli Angeli tout proche et appartenant au même groupe (et disposant d'une piscine). Dommage car le site et l'hotel sont agréables.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Villa Belvedere. All the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, plentiful and varied. Our room upgrade was very much appreciated and we had a wonderful view of the sea and Mount Etna. We also enjoyed some relaxation time by the pool. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends. Hope we can return one day.

The property is well maintained and very comfortable. It is however unsuitable for elderly guests due to the amount of steps involved getting around the property. The parking facilities are almost non existent and this area needs attention as it is sometimes impossible to find a parking spot and the road alongside the property is extremely steep and difficult to manoeuvre the car The interior of the apartments and the views are outstanding. The pool is very nice but cold as the solar heating did not seem to work very well We think the owners should provide soap, shampoo for guests as the nearest supermarket is a difficult 15 minute walk up a very steep hill The property is also not signposted and guests have to make an international phone call to the owner to gain access to the property if they are non Italian guests. Overall we enjoyed our stay but believe some minor changes could make it an outstanding stay We also disagree with the owners policy of reading the electrical meter on guests arrival and potentially charging more if the electrical allowance is exceeded. This is after all a "Luxury Residence" Soap, shampoo and electricity should all be included in the tariff

outstanding service and attention to detail. warm, helpful and friendly staff make the stay a pleasure.
