Torre Don Virgilio ist sehr schön gelegen zwischen Modica und Noto. Der Garten ist gut angelegt, so dass Olivenbäume am Pool Schatten spenden. Die Liegen um das leider in Anbetracht der Gästeauslastung etwas kleine und nicht tiefe Becken sind unbequem: aus Plastik, ohne Polsterauflage. Es stört, dass auch Stühle und Tische an denen morgens und abends gegessen wird, aus Plastik sind. Die Zimmer werden sehr gut geputzt. Das Essen war nach anfänglichen kleinen Unregelmäßigkeiten gute regionale Hausmannskost. Ein Teil des leider sehr mit Arbeit überlasteten Personals in der Hauptsaison war überaus hilfsbereit und bemüht, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay generally. The only reservations concerned the accommodation - the beds were quite uncomfortable. We were unaware that we would pay for tennis, which is fine to an extent except the tennis courts and raquets were in a dreadful state. We were also over-charged for our taxi from the airport to the hotel having previously agreed a fare with the hotel at the time of booking.

The Ashbee was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in, the staff was wonderful.We would very much like to return for another stay !

Ottima location, personale gentile, camera ampia e sempre in ordine grazie a due ripassi giornalieri, terrazza in camera con vista mare spettacolare, ottima colazione, cucina nella media, spazi vomuni ben curati, piscina anonima e piccolina, spiaggia incantevole, animazione molto soft e poco coinvolgente, manca un’area giochi per bambini, SPA deludente in quanto priva di una vasca o piscina a idromassaggio e le docce emozionali erano delle normali docce con luci led e la temperatura si doveva regolare con un monocomando manualmente, come la doccia di casa praticamente.
