Luxury hotels and resorts

We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend you. Stuff we loved: - the location and the hotel itself: beautiful. We particularly loved the beach and pool, which our daughter loved, but also the amazing view of Ortigia. We were really impressed by how pristine it all felt - this must take a lot of effort by the team to keep it all ship shape - the staff: brilliant, friendly, welcoming. Thanks particularly to the person on reception who arranged a table for dinner for us and a lift back; the brilliant beach team who kept us happy, safe and refreshed; the fantastic life guard at the pool, who looked after us so well - the poolside cafe - great offer, lovely team, good food Stuff we'd change: - we'd make the hotel policies more guest-centric. For example, you should serve on the terrace at breakfast (at least setting up the tables and serving teas, coffees, drinks). Everyone wants to eat out there, make it part of the experience rather than not. - we'd improve the ambience and quality of food (bland) in the restaurant in the evening - while almost everyone in the restaurant was brilliantly friendly and helpful, there was one particularly grumpy and unhelpful woman who looked fed up, barked orders at guests and even told my husband that breakfast ended 30 minutes before it did. She lets the rest of the team down, who are great. Overall though, we absolutely loved it and will be back!

Wir waren rundum begeistert!

Io e mio marito abbiamo deciso di trascorrere qualche giorno in Sicilia per la nostra luna di miele e il Donna Carmela Resort non poteva essere scelta migliore! L’ospitalità e la cortesia da parte di tutto lo staff sono stati impeccabili sin dall’inizio. Ogni spazio all’interno del Resort (dalle camere al giardino) e’ curato nei minimi particolari. Abbiamo anche avuto il piacere di cenare in uno dei ristoranti disponibili all’interno del Resort e, che dire…un’esperienza culinaria perfetta. Ritorneremo sicuramente a trovarvi perché avete contribuito a rendere il nostro soggiorno in Sicilia ancora più speciale e magico! Daniela e Bryan

Thanks for a very nice week! You could definitely improve on the breakfast (add eggs and it would be a lot better) and command of the English language of some of the waiters.
