Posizione perfetta per visita il centro città e tutte le bellezze di Palermo.A due passi dalla cattedrale e dal palazzo reale. Molto attenti e disponibili. Ci hanno concesso senza problemiun comodo late check-out. Struttura ben restrutturata in un vecchio palazzo fascinoso.

Our stay at the Metropole Taormina Maison D’Hôtes was among the best holiday experiences we have ever had. Our accomodations, an unexpected upgrade, were amazing. The staff, food and location are spectacular. The reception staff, waitstaff (Maria was wonderful each morning) and the garage staff were a pleasure to work with. Castello San Marco is a lovely hotel with "charming" (for which I interpret interesting and good quality design, with period features - not the average, sterile environment of chains) well equipped apartments (air con, power sockets, wifi, TV [if you ever needed it!], etc.). The pool is good, with an adjoining small restaurant for lunch. Access via a back gate to the hotel's private beach area (with lots of sun lounger/shade space). Spa is good, and worth a visit. Beautiful location - there were 2 or 3 weddings hosted in the grounds. Staff are incredibly helpful. Restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was good. Only down-sides were: CSM is quite isolated - 40 euro cab from Taormina (which is worth visiting); sun shades around pool are too small, so you cannot lie flat in the shade; there were already quite a lot of wines unavailable in the restaurant in late July.
