It was truly an enchanting and special stay. One that would be hard to replicate. Our hosts were most attentive and helpful. We were travelling with another couple and we were the only guests that evening. We felt like the castle was our home for the night. We would highly recommend the adventure, which was one of the highlights of our trip.

We loved our stay at Castello San Marco. The pool was great, the gardens were lovely, the staff were delightful, the food was excellent. The lodges were comfortable. The one real complaint is that the bed was really not comfortable and the 'mattress topper' solutions were not very good as they didn't fit, so when you rolled over you fell down the hole in the middle. We stayed out of season so there was nothing going on at the beach which was a shame as there was no way of getting anywhere else other than by car. Which meant that we ate in the hotel a lot...... which was no hardship!
