Le WIFI est vraiment insuffisant

The plus: The house is superbly renovated combining very modern furniture and design with the antique stone walls and floor. The park with the orange and mandarine trees and the swimming pool area are beautiful. Very confortable beds. As there are few rooms and thus few guests, the atmosphere remains intimate. Very good restaurant with decently priced wine list. The minus: In the rooms priority was given to the design sometime to the detriment of confort : little place to hang to towels and bathrobes, small wardrobe, no place to put luggages away.

We were delighted with our stay in your hotel and the quality of the welcome we received. Your staff were very helpful and allowed us to retrieve our rental car which was stuck on the median of the road in Punta Maddalena due to the heavy rain. Due to Hurricane Apollo we extended our stay by 2 days in your hotel. Unfortunately the Villa Carlotta where we were to stay in Taormina refused to make a commercial gesture and charged us for the nights of 29 and 30 October. We are going to make use of our insurance and would need a certificate from you for the case of force majeure that we suffered and the impossibility where we were to go to Taormina because of the floods and the immobilization of our vehicle. My husband and I, together with two teenage children arrived at the beautiful Borgo del Carato and were impressed with the stunning accommodation and facilities. We stayed in an apartment and loved the breakfast poolside, the pool was absolutely wonderful, such a relaxing and enjoyable time. On one evening they were hosting a wedding reception poolside and we, together with other guests enjoyed a 3 course meal in the courtyard with beautiful wine and food. We loved going to visit Noto and Ortygia, such an easy drive. It had an element of a 'Tuscany' feel, wonderful location, facilities, host and so relaxing and enjoyable.
