We did not stay at this accommodation but we found a room at the 4* Villafranca hotel in Palermo. The Dimora del Genio was in a very bad part of town and was very dark in the stairwell. No lift, the appartment itself looked fine but the bedrooms were not good ...think student accommodation! It is not the sort of accommodation I am used to, the web site did not marry up to the actual experience. Partly our fault we should never have booked it.

no problem recommending Verdura to anyone but I think staff can seem poorly trained at times and the systems for checkingin for golf seem antiquated and the computers far too slow and the Kleenex I the rooms is very small almost uneless tissues put in proper boxes of Kleenex

La cadre est époustouflant. Néanmoins le positif s'arrête là. Ce fut l.erreur de notre séjour en Sicile. Rapport qualité prix négatif. Extrêmement cher pour les prestations. Heureusement que nous avons pu changer de chambre et être logés DS l.ancienne partie du monastère. Les autres chambres sont disposées en ligne autour de la piscine. Sans aucun intérêt. Hormis le golf, l'entretien du domaine est très moyen. Bassin d'eau autour du restaurant, vert et sale. Eau de la piscine également verte et présence de moisissures sur les parois. Le petit déjeuner est médiocre avec ses aliments surgelés. Personnel agréable mais sans plus. Il est préférable de loger dans le vieux Syracuse.
