What an incredible experience to stay at a castle that is still inhabited to this day by a Noble Italian family. You get a little taste of how it is to live in a castle! And what an incredible location, it being the only sea-side castle in Sicily, with its own private beach with crystal blue waters! Isabella, the hostess of the B&B part of the castle is so so nice and we really enjoyed her hospitality! If I would ever get married, this would be the castle to rent.

Beautiful hotel, gardens and pool area. Rooms were well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with efficIent Covid safe service. Dinners were of a high standard. Overall a very good experience, wonderful friendly staff. Location is remote so would recommend hiring a car.

Unequivocally, The Ashbee is one of the great hotels in all of Italy. The location is magical. Although, it is extremely convenient to the main part of Taormina, It is secluded, private and exclusive with astoundingly beautiful views of hills and the sea. The service was impeccable. Every person was professional, polite and friendly. They were conversationalists when you wanted to talk but never intruded when you wanted privacy. They were always helpful and were there when you needed them. In particular, the concierge was most helpful to every need or question. During our five day stay, the concierge desk, (in particular - Francesco) was knowledgeable about local attractions and restaurants and was extraordinarily accommodating to our every need. The Ashbee is the epitome of a luxury hotel. The hotel is appointed beautifully and provides the sense that you are in a private villa. The rooms are large and pleasing and the bathroom is modern and spotless. The hotel combines old world charm with all of the modern conveniences and appointments. In addition, the hotel has a fantastic restaurant providing further enjoyment to our stay. The dining experience was one of the two best experiences that we had in all of Sicily.
