Luxushotels und Resorts

Das Hotel liegt fantastisch, die Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet, nur das Restaurant hat seine Mängel. Zuerst mal hatten wir innerhalb 3 Abendessen immer das selbe Menü- keine Abwechslung bei den Gerichten. Das Menü war für seine Leistung zu teuer und aus diesem Grunde war das Restaurant auch eher schlecht besucht. Das sollte dringend geändert werden, denn vergleichbare Hotels haben eine bessere Küche. Genauso das Frühstück: In wunderbarer Lage liegt der Frühstücksraum, aber die Auswahl für solch ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist dürftig! Kalter Schweinebraten mit ein wenig Schinken ist einfach zuwenig. Kräuterquark oder Fisch haben wir sehr vermisst, genauso Vollkornbrot oder mindestens dunkles Brot! Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden, werden dieses Hotel aber unseren Freunden nicht weiterempfehlen. We loved the location and the town. We felt the pricing reflected the view and the castle setting more than the creature comforts of the rooms. The service was excellent and we particularly appreciated Enzo's help and good humor.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Verdura. The service was impeccable. Having our evening meals delivered to our terrace in the evening as perfect as thrm moment the food left the kitchen was one of the highlights. The range and quality of the foot on offer at Verdura is beyond compare. The staff in the kids club were relaxed and friendly so that our little tots were quickly set at ease. The style and decor of the resort makes it a pleasure to spend time there. We travelled with our twins aged 2 and our baby aged 1 and nothing was a problem for the staff- potties, kids gowns, slippers, toys and all that we asked for arrived within moments of any request. Très bel hôtel. Belle demeure typique superbement restaurée. Personnel, surtout à la restauration, vraiment très sympathique et accueillant. La déco est très sympa et inventive, on voit que la personne qui s'en occupe recherche ce qu'il y a de mieux pour son hôtel. Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel le mardi vers 18H00, c'était le jour de fermeture du restaurant, on nous a proposé un "dîner" imposé de "tapas" (une assiettes de fromage et un peu de charcuterie pour 2) et arancini un peu frugal et bourratif. Le petit déjeuner en revanche était parfait.
