Decor etc rather dated.Lounge very dark & gloomy. Rooms basic but clean but water not hot. No lift and difficult to get luggage to lower rooms. Excellent views & location good- 10 minute walk to town. Car parking available & well managed in difficult conditions.

Warm welcome from Mario, lovely room, issues with the air conditioning were addressed and sorted. Loved the pool area , great place to have breakfast. The old refectory very beautiful too. Lovely setting altogether. If I could offer ideas about improvement it would that the evening menu was more varied and tradionally cooked Sicilian food. . The lovely family running the hotel did vary the menu as we stayed so long. Perhaps posting a menu each day and getting guests to book a table each day? More outside chairs and tables in communal areas. Outside the refectory would be perfect for an aperitif and on the grass below the pool to sit and read. Great two weeks though. Very relaxing, lovely family run place.....great Alveria beers too....

Ottima posizione e servizio, il personale e' molto disponibile. La nostra camera era piuttosto piccola in 3 e solo con una porta finestra; a mio parere le 5 stelle sembrano un po' esagerate. Comunque siamo stati bene!
