Excellent hotel. Lovely set up with good facilities. The room was lovely and breakfast was superb with lots of options for pastries and cooked items. The staff were lovely and could not have been more helpful with queries.There were a couple of things which could have made the stay even better. 1. The pool got v crowded with young families and it felt as though the hotel needed a second, adult only pool which would have allowed couples without children to relax without interruption. 2. The restaurant was good for dinner but v formal with 3 tasting menus and a v formal a la carte menu. It felt as though it would have been appropriate to have lighter/ less formal options on the menu too. It would have encouraged us to eat at the restaurant for dinner more than once over the week. 3. For a hotel focused on being 'Eco', it would have been appropriate to have water refilling stations to encourage the use of reusable water bottles. Instead, guests were forced to buy bottled water. It did not seem aligned to their mission statement. 4. The gym was v small and needs to be expanded and improved to offer more cardio and weights options.

Villa Athena est trés bien placée, très proche de la grande atraction locale, patrimoine d'humanité. :les accomodations sont très confortables. IL faut amelorer les options de dinner pour ces qui restent a l'hotel a la nuit.

A gorgeous location but a disappointing restaurant and far too many parties at the premises disturbing our stay. Reception staf not welcoming. Beds for the kids deplorable quality. Great housekeeping staff and a clean resort. Good functioning airco.

I was expecting the ancient farmhouse as advertised on your website and not the modern hotel where I would never have chosen to stay. Your facilities were comfortable and food excellent
