The room was beautiful with a great view! Excellent location within walking distance to funivia, Isola Bella and many restaurants. Service was wonderful. Turn down service and extensive breakfast were perks. Truly a delight! I would definitely recommend this to others and it would be my first choice when we return.

My husband and I, together with two teenage children arrived at the beautiful Borgo del Carato and were impressed with the stunning accommodation and facilities. We stayed in an apartment and loved the breakfast poolside, the pool was absolutely wonderful, such a relaxing and enjoyable time. On one evening they were hosting a wedding reception poolside and we, together with other guests enjoyed a 3 course meal in the courtyard with beautiful wine and food. We loved going to visit Noto and Ortygia, such an easy drive. It had an element of a 'Tuscany' feel, wonderful location, facilities, host and so relaxing and enjoyable. I couldn't imagine that it would be possible to find such a calm in the middle of Palermo. Very nicely decorated. Recently refurbished. Easy to find. The service level of the "guarded" parking on the square nearby is a story in itself, as I found my car key, lost somewhere in Palermo, back on the passenger seat of my open car the day after !!!
