Villa Neri is a welcoming hotel, beautifully located on the slopes of the Etna. Good views, good pool, consistent delivery of service, excellent breakfast. Perhaps the only tiny minus here goes to the restaurant itself and the menu. Two different dishes came with the same vegetable julienne, which should not happen. Also, on my dish the chef forgot the potatoes, which came after we pointed it out. They were served late, but in the end they were OK. We liked our stay there very much, but would definitly and humbly suggest a revamp on the menu and on the cooking, giving that extra edge the hotel could use. thumbs up for villa neri (also would recommend changing the limoncello brand).

Breakfast extremely poor in terms of offer (products) and services- cold scrambled eggs, tables not ready, the funny lonely waiter seemed to be just awakened- definitelly an area of improvement

Not the right spot for a family. Very nice staff though they do not seem to have recommendations for things to do in the area (we asked for beach and restaurants). Restaurant took 45 minutes to bring our bill.

We stayed in room 201 which had a badly damaged wardrobe and was unusable, the damage was repeatedly pointed out to staff but no repairs were carried out and we were not offered an alternative room, the breakfast compared to what was offered in 2016 is nowhere nearly as nice or generous, on arrival we were informed that we were booked into a four person room when it was clearly stated on our confirmation form we had booked 2 rooms. We were grossly overcharged for drinks at the bar and if it wasn't for the intervention of your receptionist Valentina, who is an exceptional employee, the matter may have taken longer to resolve. Valentina and the girl who works at breakfast are brilliant and by far the best employees you have in the hotel.
