Die Lage und Ausstattung des Hotels ist super für Kunstinteressierte, für (u.a.)Badegäste wegen des steinigen Strandes nicht geeignet. Ohne Badeschuhe ist es schlicht nicht möglich, ins Wasser und wieder hinaus zu kommen, sehr schade, da der Strans ansonsten schön und das Wasser kristallklar ist. Am vorhandenen Steg fehlt leider eine Badeleiter ins Meer - ist als Tipp gemeint! Das Freiluftrestaurant des Hotels ist traumhaft direkt am Meer gelegen und das Frühstück wird mit sehr schönen, künstlerisch gestalteten Möbeln, klassischer Musik und Traumblick auf das Meer zum Erlebnis! Leider war es abends trotz Superwetters zu unserer Reisezeit Ende September nicht mehr im Betrieb.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Zash for 4 nights in mid May. The hotel is a beautiful building in charming surroundings. It's clean, friendly and very relaxing. Breakfast was straightforward continental and whilst we found the lunch menu somewhat limited the quality of food itself was good throughout. Dinner was nothing short of exceptional and I would say enough to warrant a visit to Zash in itself. All of the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The facilities including the pool were in good condition and well kept. There's a slight lack of things to do nearby and so renting a car is definitely advisable. That said, we did use the bikes to explore the nearby towns. We would like to thank the staff for making it a very pleasant stay. Should we return to Sicily then we will definitely visit Zash again. Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Mandranova Resort sehr genossen. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber, eine gute Küche mit einem sehr guten Angebot an Weinen aus Sizilien.

Lovely hotel in a very pleasant location. Staff and service was excellent. A bit disappointed with the consistency of the evening turndown service. This was 'hit and miss' with some nights being provided and others not. Overall a lovely holiday
